Accor to debut Pullman brand in Dehradun with new airport hotel
Accor, a global leader in hospitality, has announced the signing of Pullman Dehradun Airport, continuing its strategic expansion across India’s premium hotel segment. The new property, slated to open in early 2029, will bring the internationally renowned Pullman brand to one of India’s emerging travel destinations at the foothills of the Himalayas.
In a move that reinforces its presence in India’s premium hospitality sector, Accor has signed an agreement to open Pullman Dehradun Airport. Set to launch in early 2029, the hotel will be a flagship premium offering in the Doon Valley, nestled amid the Himalayan foothills and offering seamless access to both Dehradun and the spiritual hub of Rishikesh. This latest development demonstrates Accor’s continued commitment to entering high-growth, underpenetrated markets across the country.
The upcoming Pullman hotel will offer 200 rooms and suites, designed with a focus on modern aesthetics, comfort, and efficiency. The property is aimed at a diverse clientele of leisure tourists, business travellers, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) groups. Guests will have access to a wide range of amenities, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty eatery, and a bar and lounge designed for both relaxation and social gatherings.
Further enhancing the hotel’s appeal are its wellness and event offerings. The property will feature a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness centre, and a swimming pool. Business travellers and event organizers will benefit from approximately 1,000 square meters of flexible meeting and event space, making it a versatile venue for conferences, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
Accor’s Vice President of Development for India & South Asia, Aniruddh Kumar, emphasized that the Pullman brand’s arrival in Dehradun aligns with Accor’s strategy to expand into high-potential destinations that balance business and leisure demand. By introducing a globally recognized premium hotel to Dehradun, Accor seeks to offer greater diversity and sophistication in hospitality services in the region.
The project is being developed in partnership with Pacific India Group, whose Promoter, Abhishek Bansal, is already known for transformative real estate developments in Dehradun, including the region’s largest retail mall. This collaboration signals a strong push toward positioning Dehradun as a rising destination for premium lifestyle and hospitality experiences.
Pullman, a brand with roots tracing back to 1867, is globally recognized for creating hotel environments that blur the lines between work, wellness, leisure, and social engagement. With this new project, Pullman will bring its signature blend of forward-thinking design and dynamic lifestyle amenities to northern India.
