Frasers Hospitality brings The Luxury Collection to Singapore’s Bugis District
Frasers Hospitality has signed an agreement with Marriott International to introduce The Luxury Collection to central Singapore, marking a new chapter for high-end hospitality in the city’s historic Bras Basah–Bugis precinct. Located within the flagship Bugis Junction mixed-use development, the rebranded hotel will anchor one of Singapore’s most culturally rich districts. With direct access to Bugis MRT Station and close proximity to Kampong Glam and Arab Street, the property is positioned as a gateway between heritage neighbourhoods and the modern city. Expected to open as The Luxury Collection in January 2026, the hotel aims to combine timeless elegance with a strong sense of place.
The upcoming Luxury Collection hotel will feature 406 guestrooms and suites, starting from 38 square metres, designed to offer a blend of contemporary comfort and classic sophistication. Facilities are planned to include a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool, supporting both business and leisure guests in the heart of Bras Basah–Bugis. Six dining and social venues are slated for the property, including an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge and pool bar, adding to the already vibrant food and beverage scene in the district and enhancing Bugis Junction’s positioning as a lifestyle hub.
By aligning the existing hotel asset with Marriott International’s Luxury Collection standards, Frasers Hospitality is seeking to unlock further value through a carefully managed transformation rather than a complete reinvention. The strategy focuses on elevating product and service while retaining the identity and heritage that distinguish the property within Singapore’s competitive luxury segment. The hotel will also integrate into Marriott Bonvoy, giving members additional opportunities to earn and redeem points in Singapore and reinforcing the city’s role as a key stop within Marriott’s regional luxury network.
Meeting and event demand will be supported by approximately 1,000 square metres of flexible event space, including a 540 square metre ballroom for corporate functions, weddings and social celebrations. The location within Bugis Junction and direct MRT connectivity strengthen its appeal for local and international planners looking for a central, well-connected venue. As The Luxury Collection prepares to debut in this landmark address, the project underlines the confidence of both partners in Singapore’s long-term appeal as a luxury travel and business destination, and further cements the Bras Basah–Bugis corridor as one of the city’s most dynamic cultural and commercial nodes.
