Hyatt Place Ha Long Bay Bai Chay opens as first Hyatt Place Hotel in Vietnam
Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with Holding Thanh Duc Joint Stock Company, has announced the grand opening of Hyatt Place Ha Long Bay Bai Chay, marking the brand’s debut in Vietnam. Located in one of the country's most popular tourism hubs, the hotel is set to provide guests with a seamless stay experience through functional design and 24/7 conveniences.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially expanded its global footprint with the opening of Hyatt Place Ha Long Bay Bai Chay, the first property under the Hyatt Place brand in Vietnam. This new addition to Hyatt’s Essentials portfolio delivers the brand’s hallmark experience—intuitive design, modern comfort, and convenience—catering to business and leisure travelers alike.
Strategically situated in Bai Chay, a vibrant district of Ha Long known for its entertainment, markets, and marina, the hotel provides quick access to some of the region’s most iconic attractions. Guests can enjoy scenic boat rides to Thien Cung Cave, kayaking adventures around Cua Van Fishing Village, or cultural explorations at Quang Ninh Museum and Bai Chay Market.
The hotel features 163 spacious guestrooms, each with private balconies offering stunning views of Ha Long Bay or the city skyline. Rooms are designed with functionality in mind, including separate areas for sleeping, working, and relaxing, along with Hyatt’s signature Cozy Corner sofa-sleepers.
