IHG Expands Bengaluru Portfolio with Dual Signing of Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a major expansion in Bengaluru with the signing of two new properties at KIADB Aerospace Park. In partnership with Hotel Chetan International, the upcoming Crowne Plaza Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park and Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park will collectively add more than 420 rooms to IHG’s India portfolio. Both hotels are slated to open in the first quarter of 2028.
Strategically located near Kempegowda International Airport, the hotels will be positioned to serve the growing demand from aerospace and technology companies, Global Capability Centres, and corporates in the area. The properties are also set to benefit from nearby social and leisure demand, particularly with the upcoming BCCI Centre of Excellence and National Cricket Academy located directly across from the development.
The 210-key Crowne Plaza Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park will target premium travelers, featuring four dining venues, a ballroom, meeting spaces, retail outlets, and a pool bar. In contrast, the 210-key Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park will focus on time-conscious guests, offering essential amenities including a fitness centre and comfortable accommodations designed for convenience and efficiency.
Both hotels will provide access to IHG One Rewards, the company’s global loyalty program, offering members benefits such as suite upgrades, lounge memberships, and late check-out. With this signing, IHG strengthens its commitment to India’s high-potential hospitality market, where it currently operates 51 hotels across six brands and maintains a robust pipeline of 72 more properties expected within the next 3–5 years.
