Together, the hotels will add over 1,700 rooms to IHG’s growing presence in the region, with openings scheduled between 2028 and 2030. Each property will be operated under IHG’s management agreements, reflecting the company's strategic approach to expanding across Saudi Arabia’s key cities.

InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra will deliver a new luxury experience in the Eastern Province with 326 rooms located next to the upscale Al Shubaily Grand Mall. Designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers, this property will reinforce the InterContinental brand’s hallmark of refined hospitality.

The 717-room voco Al Khobar Al Andalus will bring voco’s signature relaxed charm and upscale service to the Eastern Province, providing easy access to the vibrant Corniche area. This expansion supports voco's rapid growth as a premium lifestyle brand within the IHG portfolio.

Meanwhile, Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate will be a major addition to southern Jeddah, offering 700 rooms within a dynamic mixed-use development near Al Balad and the Royal Court. The hotel will deliver immersive local experiences, aligning with Hotel Indigo’s brand ethos of neighborhood storytelling.

Haitham Mattar, Managing Director, IHG Hotels & Resorts, India, Middle East & Africa, emphasized that the signings mark a significant step in supporting the Kingdom’s burgeoning tourism sector. Ali bin Mohammed Al Ali, Chairman of Ashaad Company, also highlighted that the partnership aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions to position the Kingdom as a premier global tourism destination.

Currently, IHG operates 45 hotels across Saudi Arabia with another 49 in the development pipeline, reinforcing its role in the Kingdom’s transformational journey.
