Lemon Tree Hotels has signed development management and license agreements with RJ Corp Limited to add two large-scale upper-midscale properties to its pipeline: Lemon Tree Premier, Ayodhya and Lemon Tree Premier, Guwahati. Both hotels are planned at approximately 300 keys, with operations to be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree. The partnership leverages RJ Corp’s development capability and Lemon Tree’s technical expertise to accelerate growth in two high-demand markets. The Guwahati project will also introduce a stock of serviced apartments aimed at extended stays and medical tourism demand.

The 300-key Lemon Tree Premier, Ayodhya is positioned in a destination of strong religious and cultural significance, aligning brand presence with rising domestic travel to pilgrimage hubs. Planned facilities encompass a full-service restaurant, sizeable banquet and meeting/conference spaces, and recreation amenities including a swimming pool, spa and curated public areas. In the Northeast gateway city, Lemon Tree Premier, Guwahati is designed with approximately 300 rooms plus about 50 serviced apartments with kitchenettes to support long-stay and treatment-related visits, alongside a restaurant, banquet, meeting/conference rooms, a swimming pool, spa and additional leisure zones. Under the structure announced, the hotels will be developed by RJ Corp Limited using Lemon Tree’s technical know-how, while day-to-day operations will be overseen by Carnation Hotels Private Limited to ensure brand standards, efficiency and distribution strength. The signings expand Lemon Tree’s footprint with scale assets in strategically diversified demand centers and reflect the company’s focus on refreshing, comfortable stays across India. Leadership signaled that Guwahati, in particular, strengthens the group’s reach into new traveler segments through purpose-built extended-stay inventory and healthcare-adjacent lodging.
