Lemon Tree Hotels Expands in Maharashtra with New All-Suite Property in Nashik
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of Lemon Tree Suites, Nashik, further strengthening its presence in Maharashtra’s growing hospitality market. Managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, the fully owned management subsidiary of the group, the property will bring a premium all-suite experience to one of India’s most spiritually and culturally rich cities.
In a strategic move to deepen its footprint in western India, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has signed a new upscale property—Lemon Tree Suites, Nashik—to be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary. The upcoming hotel is set to feature 135 well-appointed suites and will cater to both business and leisure travelers visiting Nashik, a city that blends spiritual heritage with India’s thriving wine tourism industry.
The new property will offer a comprehensive hospitality experience with a range of facilities including a restaurant, lounge, banquet space, meeting room, fitness center, spa, and swimming pool, along with other public areas. Located just 12 km from the Nashik Railway Station and approximately 27 km from the Nashik International Airport, the hotel enjoys strong connectivity via public and private transport networks.
Nashik, situated on the banks of the Godavari River, holds significant religious importance, with historic sites like Panchavati and Ram Kund attracting pilgrims and spiritual seekers year-round. It is also one of the four locations for the Kumbh Mela, held every twelve years. However, Nashik is not solely a spiritual destination—it is also widely recognized as the Wine Capital of India, home to more than half of the country's vineyards and wineries.
As such, Lemon Tree Suites, Nashik is uniquely positioned to serve a diverse clientele—from spiritual tourists and wellness seekers to wine aficionados and business travelers. Its location in a city that straddles both religious tradition and modern lifestyle tourism aligns with Lemon Tree Hotels’ mission to deliver quality hospitality experiences in key demand markets.
Commenting on the announcement, Vilas Pawar, CEO – Managed & Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, stated that the group now operates 14 hotels across Maharashtra, with six more in the pipeline, reaffirming the brand’s growth trajectory and strategic focus on high-potential urban and leisure destinations.
This new signing underscores Lemon Tree Hotels’ continued efforts to expand its mid-to-upscale offerings across India and cater to the evolving needs of domestic and international travelers in both emerging and established destinations.
