Lemon Tree Hotels signs a new Najibabad hotel in Uttar Pradesh
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has signed a new hotel in Najibabad, Uttar Pradesh, further expanding its footprint in one of India’s most active travel markets. The signing marks the company’s 25th property in Uttar Pradesh, with 8 hotels already operational in the state and 17 more in the pipeline, including this latest project. The upcoming property will operate as Lemon Tree Hotel, Najibabad and will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
The project strengthens Lemon Tree Hotels’ strategy of building scale in high-potential regional destinations with a mix of leisure, pilgrimage, and transit demand. Located in the Bijnor district, Najibabad is positioned as a gateway to major destinations such as Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Jim Corbett National Park, giving the hotel strong relevance for both short breaks and multi-stop itineraries. The location also supports practical connectivity, with the site described as about 88 km from Jolly Grant Airport and approximately 8.6 km from Najibabad Junction railway station.
In terms of product offering, the hotel is planned with 100 well-appointed rooms and a full set of facilities designed to serve both individual travelers and events. The amenities will include a restaurant, banquet hall, conference room, and recreational facilities such as a fitness centre, swimming pool, and spa. The company also highlighted the destination’s improving infrastructure and consistent travel demand as key reasons behind the signing, while Vilas Pawar identified Najibabad’s role across spiritual, leisure, and transit travel as a strong fit for the brand’s growth strategy.
