In a move that reinforces its expansion strategy in Gujarat, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has signed a new property under its upscale Lemon Tree Premier brand in Surat, known as the Diamond City of India. The hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. Featuring 108 well-appointed rooms, the upcoming hotel will offer a wide range of amenities including a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, gym, spa, and other public spaces designed to serve both corporate and leisure guests.

The property is conveniently located approximately 11 kilometers from Surat Airport and 9.5 kilometers from Surat Railway Station, with excellent connectivity to public and private transportation. This strategic location ensures easy access for national and international visitors, positioning the hotel as a preferred choice in the region.

Surat, globally recognized for its dominance in diamond cutting and polishing as well as textile manufacturing, is a vibrant industrial and commercial hub. Beyond its economic significance, the city is steeped in cultural heritage, with landmarks such as the Dutch Garden and Surat Castle, as well as the scenic Tapi River enriching its urban landscape. The city also has a distinct culinary culture, highlighted by Khaudra Gali, a bustling food street offering regional delicacies that attract food lovers from across the country.

According to Vilas Pawar, CEO – Managed & Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, this new addition is a part of the brand’s larger growth strategy in Gujarat, which currently includes nine operational and seventeen upcoming hotels and resorts. He emphasized that Gujarat’s pro-business policies, ongoing infrastructure development, and strategic location make it an attractive destination for hospitality investment.

The signing of Lemon Tree Premier, Surat marks a significant step forward in the company’s effort to tap into key industrial cities while offering quality accommodation that aligns with the needs of modern travelers.
