Manchester City Football Club Manchester City and Radisson unveil 'The Medlock' Hotel
Manchester City Football Club has announced a partnership with Radisson Hotel Group to introduce a new 401-room hotel named 'The Medlock', set to open in late 2026. This upper-upscale hotel will become part of the Radisson Blu brand and is a key component of the Club's £300 million development at the Etihad Campus.
'The Medlock', named after the river that flows beneath the Etihad Campus, will offer a variety of accommodations, including suites, deluxe and standard rooms, and a luxury penthouse suite. Guests will have access to diverse food and beverage outlets, a rooftop walkway, a museum experience, and commercial office spaces within the expanded stadium area.
Designed to operate year-round, the hotel aims to provide convenient lodging for attendees of events at the Etihad Stadium, visitors to the UK's largest indoor arena, Co-op Live, and tourists exploring Manchester. Additionally, 'The Medlock' will cater to the high demand for large corporate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities in Manchester by offering access to meeting and event spaces at the Etihad Stadium, with easy connectivity to the city center.
This collaboration underscores Manchester City's commitment to enhancing the Etihad Campus as a premier sports and entertainment destination. The partnership with Radisson Hotel Group brings hospitality expertise to the project, aligning with the Club's vision for 'The Medlock'. The hotel will be managed by Valor Hospitality, a recognized hotel management company.
