Prize by Radisson Osnabrück has opened on Johannisstrasse, debuting the brand’s warmer, more tactile design language in the heart of the city. The launch sets a new baseline for Prize by Radisson as it targets modern, easygoing stays in Osnabrück’s walkable center. Guests are steps from the Neumarkt district, the Old Town and the Museum Quarter, with the central station about a ten-minute walk away. The property strengthens Radisson Hotel Group’s footprint in Lower Saxony, aligning contemporary style with sustainable hotel operations.
The hotel is the first to showcase Prize by Radisson’s refined aesthetic, trading overt themes for calm palettes, natural textures and considered lighting that create an intuitive backdrop for travel. Social spaces are designed around today’s urban rhythm, flexing for quick check-ins, casual coworking, relaxed breakfasts or unwinding after a day in the city. Across 172 rooms, including family options for up to two adults and three children, the layout focuses on practical comfort: generous beds, walk-in rain showers, connected TVs and bedside wireless charging bring convenience to short and extended stays alike.
Sustainability is embedded throughout the experience. The property holds DGNB Gold certification, operates largely paperless and applies measures to reduce waste and energy use, supporting alignment with EU Taxonomy standards and the wider responsible travel ambitions of Radisson Hotel Group. This opening positions the hotel as a smart city center base between Neumarkt’s lively streets and the cobbled lanes of the Old Town, where cafés, boutiques and cultural venues sit close to green parks and cycling routes that define Osnabrück.
