The Radisson Blu Hotel, Florence is positioned as a modern urban resort, with sleek interiors and generous outdoor areas designed for relaxation and activity. The 304 guest rooms and suites include Family and Premium categories as well as Suites, many offering panoramic vistas over the Tuscan landscape. Family Rooms measure 38 m² and can be configured with connecting spaces, allowing parents to maintain privacy while children enjoy their own area. Throughout the accommodation, contemporary styling and practical layouts are used to cater to different types of travellers, from families to corporate guests and bleisure visitors.

Leisure and wellness form a core part of the guest experience. A full-service spa and wellness center sits alongside an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a modern fitness hub, giving guests multiple ways to unwind or stay active during their stay. Families benefit from a dedicated playground, a kid’s pool with water games and tailored zones for younger guests, making the hotel suitable for multi-generational trips. The gardens and open-air spaces reinforce the resort atmosphere, while service is underpinned by Radisson Blu’s Yes I Can! approach to hospitality.

As one of Florence’s largest conference hotels, the property offers 1,500 m² of meeting and event space across 15 rooms. A 452 m² ballroom can host up to 450 guests, positioning the hotel strongly for conferences, corporate events and social celebrations. All venues are equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology and support hybrid meeting formats, as well as tailored business services. This combination of scale, technology and accessibility aims to make the Radisson Blu Hotel, Florence a key address for the city’s MICE and event segment.

The opening also supports Radisson Hotel Group’s wider strategy in Italy, enhancing its footprint in major urban and cultural locations. According to Yilmaz Yildirimlar, COO Managed Hotels, Europe, the property is designed to reflect a balance between heritage and innovation that characterises modern Florence. General Manager Gilles Toffoletto leads the team in delivering an experience that blends contemporary comfort, authentic service and the refined style associated with the Radisson Blu brand, targeting business travellers, leisure guests and those combining both in a single stay.

On the culinary side, the hotel showcases Italian and international flavours through a collection of restaurants and bars. Bertarelli focuses on refined Tuscan cuisine crafted with local ingredients, while La Primavera offers all-day dining with international favourites and dedicated options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests. The Lobby Lounge Bar provides a setting for a classic aperitivo by the fireplace, and during warmer months, the La Veranda Pool Restaurant & Bar serves relaxed dishes and cocktails by the pool. Together, these venues position the hotel as a social hub for both international visitors and local residents.

Connectivity and location further enhance the appeal of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Florence. The property offers quick access to Florence’s UNESCO-listed historic center as well as the surrounding countryside of Tuscany, including the Chianti wine region and the hills of Fiesole. Excellent links via the A1 motorway, Florence and Pisa airports, and the main train station make it easy to reach by car or public transport, with a dedicated shuttle connecting guests to the city center. From this base, travellers can visit landmarks such as the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, while also exploring lesser-known sites like San Miniato al Monte and the artisan quarter of Oltrarno.
