Radisson Collection debuts in Chengdu
Jin Jiang International Hotels and Radisson Hotel Group have opened Radisson Collection Hotel, Hi-Tech Zone Chengdu, marking the flagship debut of Radisson Collection in Southwest China. Located within the Cloud Yunduan Tower at the Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation, the hotel brings together contemporary European sophistication and the cultural heritage of Sichuan. With 178 rooms and suites, elevated dining venues, meeting spaces and wellness facilities, the property adds a new luxury lifestyle address to Chengdu’s high-tech business district. Its opening supports the city’s growing role as a gateway for business, innovation and international exchange.
Radisson Collection Hotel, Hi-Tech Zone Chengdu is positioned within one of western China’s most important economic and cooperation platforms. The Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation serves as a national-level platform for China-Europe cooperation and foreign exchange in the region. This gives the hotel a strong strategic setting for global business travellers, international organisations and guests connected to trade, technology and diplomatic exchange.
The hotel occupies floors 31 to 46 of the Cloud Yunduan Tower, creating a high-rise hospitality experience above Tianfu Avenue. Its elevated position allows guestrooms and public spaces to frame views of the Jinjiang River and the Chengdu skyline. The tower location also reinforces the hotel’s identity as a landmark within the city’s modern business landscape.
Accessibility is another key part of the property’s appeal. The hotel is a one-to-two-minute walk from Tianfu 5th Street Metro Station and Tianfu Software Park, placing guests close to one of Chengdu’s major technology and business clusters. CyPARK is around 10 minutes away by car, while Tiexiang Temple Riverfront can be reached in approximately 21 minutes.
Accommodation includes 178 guestrooms and suites ranging from 45 to 242 square metres. The interiors balance modern European elegance with references to Sichuan culture, using curved walls, flowing architectural lines, soft lighting and smart in-room technology. Floor-to-ceiling windows create a calm private retreat above the city, with broad views that connect each stay to the urban and river landscape below.
Dining and social spaces are designed to support both business and leisure stays. Atrium All-Day Dining takes inspiration from European courtyards and serves international cuisine in a bright setting. Jin Chinese Restaurant draws from Shu brocade and Silk Road culture, offering Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine for business entertaining and intimate gatherings.
The hotel also includes The Vela Lounge, a skyline-facing space for business gatherings, private events and bespoke celebrations. Ethereal Lobby Lounge uses jade-inspired design elements and elevated city views to create a refined setting for relaxation and social occasions. Together, these venues give the property an all-day rhythm shaped by dining, meetings and destination-led atmosphere.
Meetings and events form an important part of the hotel’s offer. The property includes two ballrooms measuring 322 and 280 square metres, respectively. Inspired by the Southern Silk Road, the venues are equipped with advanced audiovisual technology and supported by a professional events team, allowing the hotel to serve international conferences, exhibitions and bespoke banquets.
Wellness and recreation facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool with an arched ceiling, a spa and a fitness centre located on the first floor of the annex building. These amenities broaden the hotel’s role beyond corporate travel, supporting leisure guests and business travellers who want relaxation and movement during their stay.
Sustainability features are also included in the property’s operations. The hotel uses LED lighting throughout all areas, motion sensors in stairways, daylight dimming and time-zone controls in lobbies and banquet halls. Smart room power systems use key-card and infrared occupancy sensors to reduce energy use when rooms are unoccupied, while maintaining always-on power for selected essentials such as refrigerators and safes.
The opening also reinforces Radisson Hotel Group’s wider growth strategy in China. By bringing Radisson Collection to Chengdu, the group is expanding its luxury lifestyle presence into a city known for commerce, technology, culture and international connectivity. The partnership with Jin Jiang International Hotels gives the project a strong local and operational platform.
With its 178 rooms and suites, tower setting, China-Europe business location, Sichuan-inspired design, international dining, ballrooms and wellness facilities, Radisson Collection Hotel, Hi-Tech Zone Chengdu introduces a new high-end hospitality landmark to Southwest China. The hotel is designed to serve as both a luxury city stay and a platform for international exchange, placing Radisson Collection at the centre of one of Chengdu’s most important business districts.
