Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels Opens as Landmark Golfside Retreat
Radisson Hotel Group has officially opened Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, a refined golfside destination set on the prestigious The National Golf Brussels course, just 15 minutes from the city center. The launch marks the brand’s second Radisson Collection property in Belgium and coincides with the group’s 35th anniversary of its global headquarters in Brussels.
Designed by acclaimed Belgian architect Olivier Dwek, the 150-room property — including 30 suites and 12 junior suites — emphasizes natural textures, warm tones, and serene connections to its landscape. Many accommodations feature private terraces with expansive golf course views. The interiors are complemented by landscape architect Bas Smets’ sustainable outdoor design, which incorporates local materials and advanced geothermal systems, making it Belgium’s first international hotel to use geothermal cooling and heating.
Guests can enjoy Stoke Grill House & Brasserie, designed by Will Erens, with a stylish bar and terrace, as well as access to David Lloyd Sterrebeek, one of Belgium’s leading wellness centers, offering pools, a gym, fitness classes, and tennis courts. For golf enthusiasts, the 6 km championship course designed by Bruno Steensels provides a world-class sporting experience, alongside practice facilities and a compact 6-hole course.
The property also caters to business and private events, with eight meeting rooms, a divisible conference hall, and a rooftop event space with panoramic views, accommodating up to 380 guests.
Positioned between Brussels’ historic attractions and the tranquil suburb of Sterrebeek, the hotel offers guests the best of both worlds — from the UNESCO-listed Grand Place and the Magritte Museum to the leafy Sonian Forest.
The opening underscores Radisson Hotel Group’s commitment to responsible hospitality, refined design, and locally inspired experiences, reinforcing Brussels as both a global hub for the company and a cultural gateway for travelers.
