Radisson expands in Gwalior with Hotel Gwalior Regency opening
Radisson Hotel Group has strengthened its footprint in central India with the opening of Hotel Gwalior Regency, A Member of Radisson Individuals. The launch marks the group’s third property in Gwalior and its eighth in Madhya Pradesh, reinforcing its focus on both heritage destinations and business travel markets. It also introduces the Radisson Individuals brand to a city known for its cultural depth and growing hospitality appeal. The opening reflects Radisson Hotel Group’s strategy of combining international standards with properties that retain a strong local identity.
With this addition, Radisson Hotel Group is deepening its portfolio in a destination where heritage tourism, social events and corporate demand increasingly overlap. Alongside the existing Radisson and Park Inn by Radisson hotels in the city, Hotel Gwalior Regency broadens the group’s brand mix while adding a more distinctive property-led experience through Radisson Individuals. The hotel features 50 contemporary rooms and suites across superior, deluxe and suite categories, designed to balance comfort, practicality and understated elegance. Its guest offering is supported by Eat-O-Logy, an all-day dining restaurant that anchors the property’s food and beverage proposition, as well as a fully equipped fitness centre and a spa with dedicated treatment rooms scheduled to become operational by June 2026. The hotel is also being positioned as a major address for weddings, conferences and social gatherings, with an events portfolio that includes Darbar, a grand ballroom with an adjoining outdoor banquet lawn suited to both indoor and open-air functions, and Mandap, a ballroom with a pre-function area for flexible setups. For SB Hotels Private Limited, led by Mayank Garg, the project is intended to contribute to Gwalior’s growth by introducing hospitality infrastructure aligned with international expectations. Operationally, the property is being shaped around a stay experience that feels personal and comfortable while reflecting both the warmth of the city and the global framework of Radisson Hotel Group, as highlighted by Sapnil Kalkar.
