Radisson Hotel Group accelerates expansion in France with landmark signings in Paris, CDG, Cannes and Bourges
Radisson Hotel Group is fast-tracking its French growth with a quartet of high-profile conversions and openings that lift its national footprint to 34 hotels in operation and under development. The latest deals add depth across luxury lifestyle and upscale segments in Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport, Cannes and Bourges, backed by strategic partnerships with Covivio and Byron Gestion. The moves also expand the Group’s reach in Île-de-France to 11 hotels and c.1,700 rooms in operation and pipeline. A robust slate of forthcoming projects in La Baule and Paris further underlines momentum following recent launches in Lyon, Montpellier and Rueil-Malmaison.
Opening in Q3 2026, Banke Opera Paris, A Radisson Collection Hotel will reinforce the brand’s luxury lifestyle presence in the capital. Housed in a 1907 former bank on rue de La Fayette, steps from Galeries Lafayette and Opéra Garnier, the 90-key property will undergo a comprehensive renovation to showcase contemporary Parisian elegance behind a Belle Époque façade. Highlights include a 19th-century atrium reimagined for reception, bar and restaurant, a Gustave Eiffel-designed staircase, a modern gym, wellness facilities within the bank’s former vault room, and a tailored meetings and events offer—positioning the address for both leisure and corporate demand.
Set to open at the end of 2025 directly opposite Terminal 3 at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Paris Roissy CDG Airport strengthens the Group’s upscale portfolio at one of Europe’s busiest gateways. The 305-room hotel (including 20 junior suites and five suites) will benefit from seamless connections via the adjacent Roissy Val station and a 2026 upgrade of guestrooms, reception and restaurant-bar. With 1,500 sqm of meeting space, a terrace, and a full wellness program (fitness centre, sauna, hammam and indoor pool), the property is designed as a high-capacity business hub. The signing underscores the Group’s strategic partnership with Covivio and contributes to 11 hotels / ~1,700 rooms in Île-de-France now in operation or development.
On the Côte d’Azur, Radisson Resort Cannes will introduce the Group’s fastest-growing upscale brand to a beachfront setting in Cannes La Bocca, a 10-minute drive from La Croisette and the Palais des Festivals. Recently acquired by Byron Gestion, the 100-room hotel will be fully renovated ahead of a 2026 opening as an urban resort with direct beach access, an outdoor swimming pool, landscaped gardens and wide-angle sea views from many rooms—numerous with private balconies—appealing to leisure travellers and event delegates alike.
In central France, Hôtel Beaux Arts Bourges, a Member of Radisson Individuals is scheduled to open in 2027 within the city’s historic district near the main square. The 52-room boutique address arrives as Bourges prepares to serve as European Capital of Culture 2028, aligning the hotel with increasing cultural tourism and regional visitation.
A strong pipeline complements these signings. Hotel & Spa Amoria La Baule, a member of Radisson Individuals targets a Q4 2025 debut on the Atlantic coast, while Maison Rivoli Paris, A Radisson Collection Hotel is slated for winter 2027 with a refined, residential-style experience in the heart of Paris. Within the landmark Triangle development, Radisson Blu Hotel, Triangle Paris is expected in H1 2027, blending architectural innovation with sustainability for an upscale city stay. The expansion follows notable French openings including Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel—a luxury reimagining of a 14th-century mansion in Vieux Lyon—Radisson Blu Hotel, Montpellier, and Le Relais de la Malmaison, a member of Radisson Individuals, a tranquil retreat just outside Paris. Collectively, these projects deepen Radisson Hotel Group’s calibrated growth across luxury lifestyle and upscale segments in France’s most competitive urban and resort markets.
