Radisson Hotel Group builds momentum in Europe for 2026
Radisson Hotel Group closed 2025 with more than 272 new hotel signings and openings, underlining strong momentum as it heads into 2026. The group retained Radisson Blu as Europe’s largest upper-upscale hotel brand, with a presence in 154 cities across the continent. It also continued to lead the European resort segment, with Radisson Blu resorts operating in 27 destinations. The results reflect a year shaped by sustained development activity, owner confidence, and a clear focus on relevant long-term growth.
In Europe, Radisson Hotel Group combined scale with targeted expansion across priority markets. The company recorded around 70 signings and openings across EMEA, with continued focus on Southern Europe, the UK, France, Germany, and Poland. Among the key additions highlighted in the release were The Medlock, a Radisson Blu Hotel, developed in partnership with Manchester City Football Club, Banke Opera Paris, a Radisson Collection Hotel, Radisson RED Bucharest Old Town, Radisson Serviced Apartments COY Sheikh Zayed City in Egypt, Prize by Radisson Osnabrück in Germany, and Radisson Oriente Hotel Barcelona. The group also pointed to the strength of its owner relationships, noting that 65 percent of its owners have more than one hotel with the company, a sign of continued trust in its brand platform and operating model.
Leisure-led expansion remained another major growth driver. Radisson Hotel Group’s resort portfolio surpassed 160 properties worldwide, reflecting strong demand for both resort and urban-resort destinations across Europe and Asia. The company identified Atiara Ubud Bali, a Radisson Collection Resort, Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Çeşme, and Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels among its standout developments. At the same time, sustainability continued to play an important role in the group’s positioning, with Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, a Verified Net Zero Hotel and Radisson RED Oslo City Centre, a Verified Net Zero Hotel presented as the first two net zero hotels in the industry. Together, these developments show how Radisson Hotel Group is combining brand strength, owner-focused growth, and responsible development as it builds further momentum for 2026.
