Radisson Hotel Group surpasses 200 hotels in South Asia with five new signings
Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has officially crossed the 200-hotel mark in South Asia following the signing of five new properties, marking a significant milestone in its strategic expansion across the region. With a total of 128 operational hotels (14,209 keys) and 77 more in development (8,619 keys), the Group further cements its position as one of the largest international hotel operators in India.
The latest signings include:
-
Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Pawna Lake
-
Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucknow CBD
-
Radisson Hotel Rajkot
-
St. Marks Hotel, Bengaluru CBD (Radisson Individuals)
-
Temple Tree Hotel Shirdi (Radisson Individuals)
This growth is driven by a clear focus on quality hospitality, brand flexibility, and diversification into emerging leisure and tier-II markets. Over the past 14 months alone, RHG has signed more than 51 hotels in key locations across India, with significant progress in both metro hubs and underpenetrated domestic destinations.
Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, emphasized that this milestone is a testament to the strong trust from owners and the scalable appeal of RHG’s brand architecture. “India is one of our key markets in Asia where we will further amplify our growth, create more possibilities for our guests and partners, and positively impact the communities we operate in,” he said.
The Group’s presence spans leading Indian cities such as Delhi NCR, where it maintains a dominant metro presence, as well as fast-growing regional destinations. Over the past three years, Radisson has entered 45 new markets in India and continues to strengthen its portfolio with brands including Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson Individuals, Park Inn by Radisson, and the newly introduced Radisson Individuals Retreats.
This expansion reflects RHG’s sustained commitment to its owners and to meeting the evolving preferences of domestic and international travelers in India.
