Rixos Hotels Enters Southeast Asia with Landmark Resort in Phu Quoc
Rixos Hotels is set to make its highly anticipated debut in Southeast Asia with the launch of Rixos Phu Quoc Vietnam, located on Vietnam’s picturesque Hon Thom Island, part of the southern region of Phu Quoc, also known as "Pearl Island". The resort, developed in collaboration with Sun Group and Ennismore, will bring the Turkish brand’s renowned “All-Inclusive, All-Exclusive” model to a market increasingly defined by immersive, high-quality hospitality experiences.
Expected to open later this year, Rixos Phu Quoc Vietnam will offer more than 1,700 guest rooms and 22 dining venues, supported by an extensive programme of entertainment, wellness, and family-oriented amenities. Nestled within Sun Paradise Land, Sun Group’s expansive entertainment complex, the resort will provide guests with direct access to a wide range of attractions — including cultural installations, botanical gardens, water sports, and the world’s longest three-way non-stop cable car, certified by Guinness World Records.
The broader Hon Thom Island experience is equally compelling. Visitors can explore Sun World Hon Thom for adrenaline-fueled adventure, dive into marine life at Eco Beach Diving Center, or enjoy evening performances at Sunset Town, featuring the Guinness-recorded “Kiss of the Sea” water projection theater and nightly fireworks. With immersive cultural attractions like Kiss Bridge, bustling night markets such as VUI-Fest Bazaar, and unique activities including forest-to-sea golf, the island destination appeals to a wide spectrum of travellers.
The resort’s opening also supports Phu Quoc’s growing global appeal. Once a quiet fishing village, the island is now recognized among the world’s leading island destinations. Its visa-free policy for up to 30 days for qualifying international visitors distinguishes it from other destinations in Vietnam, making it a strategic location for international hospitality investment.
By establishing its presence in Phu Quoc, Rixos Hotels not only marks its regional debut but reinforces Vietnam’s position as a rising luxury travel hub. As part of the Ennismore portfolio, the resort combines signature Turkish hospitality with modern global appeal — setting a new benchmark for all-inclusive travel in Southeast Asia.
