Saint Roch joins Maisons Pariente in Courchevel 1850
Maisons Pariente is preparing to introduce Saint Roch, a new 37-room alpine retreat in Courchevel 1850, on 18 December 2026. Positioned directly on the Bellecôte piste, the hotel will become the French family-owned group's fifth property in France and its second in the Alps. The project transforms a long-established Courchevel hotel into an intimate mountain residence inspired by Slavic dachas, Persian influences and the traditions of alpine craftsmanship. Saint Roch will combine ski-in access, individually designed accommodation, dining, wellness and highly personalised mountain experiences.
The transformation has been conceived by Friedmann & Versace, the design studio founded by Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Versace. Interiors combine wood, stone, textiles and bronze with patinated surfaces, velvet and handcrafted objects collected from around the world.
Art and craftsmanship play a significant role throughout Saint Roch. Decorative elements include agate-stained glass by Atelier Toporkoff, mosaic frescoes by Pierre Mesguich and ceramics produced by French artisans. The art collection, developed with Amélie Maison d'Art, brings together 20th-century and contemporary works, bronze bas-reliefs and Persian glazed vases.
The hotel will offer 37 rooms and suites, ranging from Superior, Deluxe and Prestige categories to larger suites designed for couples, families and longer winter stays. Interiors use deep shades of tobacco brown, garnet red, moss green and midnight blue, complemented by cashmere patterns, wood, velvet and silk.
On the fifth floor, two approximately 750-square-foot Prestige Suites can be reserved individually. Together with three adjoining guestrooms, they can also form the Penthouse, allowing the entire upper floor to function as a private mountain residence for a single family or group.
Social spaces have been designed around the atmosphere of a private home. A central living room with deep sofas and a fireplace will provide a relaxed gathering place after skiing, while the restaurant will offer an intimate dining environment. The hotel bar will serve as an informal transition between time on the slopes and evening dining. A dedicated Kids Club will provide younger guests with their own recreational space.
Wellness will centre on the hotel's spa, whose design takes inspiration from Ottoman hammams and Caucasian palaces. Marble, mosaics, arches and shades of ochre, rust and midnight blue create an atmosphere influenced by historic journeys between Europe and the East.
Treatments will be provided by Tata Harper, using the American skincare brand's natural botanical formulations. The spa will also feature an indoor swimming pool, a marble mosaic shower created by Pierre Mesguich and a light-filled fitness area.
Location will be central to the guest experience. Positioned directly on the Bellecôte slope, Saint Roch will provide immediate access to Les 3 Vallées, one of the world's largest ski areas. An on-site ski shop will provide equipment and fittings directly at the hotel.
The concierge team will also arrange experiences beyond traditional skiing, including dog-sledding, snowmobiling, helicopter flights over the Alps and private mountain dining. Courchevel 1850 is approximately 90 minutes from Geneva International Airport and can also be accessed through Lyon, Chambéry, Grenoble and Annecy, by train through Moûtiers or by helicopter directly to Courchevel Altiport.
With Saint Roch, Maisons Pariente continues to develop a portfolio of individually styled luxury hotels rooted in their destinations. The Courchevel property joins Le Coucou in Méribel, Lou Pinet in Saint-Tropez, Crillon le Brave in Provence and Le Grand Mazarin in Paris, adding a second Alpine address to the collection and a new interpretation of luxury mountain hospitality.
