The Fifty Sonesta Hotel New York has unveiled its newest seasonal transformation — the Blossom & Bloom Floral Retreat Suite, a one-of-a-kind spring-themed accommodation designed to immerse guests in a lush botanical sanctuary. Created in partnership with National Tree Company and floral designer Michael Day of Hybrid Floral, this elevated experience celebrates the beauty of spring in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The suite is available for a limited time from April 14 through June 30, 2025.
As spring breathes new life into New York City, The Fifty Sonesta Hotel New York is inviting guests to indulge in the season’s charm with the debut of the Blossom & Bloom Floral Retreat Suite. This signature one-bedroom suite has been completely transformed into a floral paradise through a collaboration with National Tree Company and the creative touch of Michael Day of Hybrid Floral. The experience brings a whimsical touch of nature to Midtown East, creating the perfect setting for Mother’s Day getaways, bridal showers, or girlfriend escapes.
The highlight of the retreat is the “Bloom Where You Wander” green wall—a living art installation that serves as both a design centerpiece and photo-friendly backdrop. Guests are welcomed with a floral-themed tote bag containing a curated selection of spring renewal amenities, including scented shower steamers, eye gels, a coloring journal, and a selection of botanical-inspired treats, such as lavender chocolate and blooming flower tea.
Designed as a fully immersive sensory experience, the suite’s decor evokes the feeling of stepping into a secret garden oasis, complete with vibrant floral arrangements, seasonal fragrances, and thoughtful accents. A private terrace with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline offers the perfect spot to sip rosé, enjoy the bloom-themed amenities, or relax amid the urban buzz.
Simon Chapman, General Manager of The Fifty Sonesta Hotel New York, emphasized the suite’s goal of turning an ordinary stay into a lasting memory, describing it as “a sensory experience and peaceful oasis” that captures the essence of springtime in the city. Following the success of the Merry & Bright Holiday Suite launched in late 2024, the hotel plans to continue these themed suite activations throughout the year.
In addition to the botanical ambiance, the experience includes a European continental breakfast for two served in the hotel’s second-floor Club Room. Located just blocks from Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Fifth Avenue shopping, The Fifty Sonesta Hotel offers guests a stylish base for exploring Manhattan.
