After listening to guest feedback, the vegan apartment at Hilton London Bankside is now available for booking. Developed in collaboration with design experts from Bompas & Parr and The Vegan Society, this living space offers a fully vegan experience throughout the property, from check-in at reception and key cards to vegan-friendly beds and eco-cotton carpets.

In response to evolving values, the entire apartment has undergone a complete renovation, transforming its aesthetic to reflect the contemporary vegan lifestyle. Everything, from pillow options and toiletry amenities to in-room menus and minibar offerings, has been redesigned to create a boutique, luxurious, and ethically-conscious experience for socially aware travelers.

The vegan experience greets guests from the moment they step into the hotel, welcomed by a specially designed reception desk, botanical artworks, room keys, and seating made from Piñatex - vegan-friendly leather crafted from pineapple cellulose fibers. Stepping into the entirely new apartment, guests will have access to a range of amenities catering to plant-based lifestyles and thoughtful design throughout.

Beds

In the apartment, there is a headboard made from leather Piñatex, hand-embroidered by local embroidery artist Emily Potter. Pillow options include antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and eco-friendly materials replacing down.

The floor and carpet made from eco-cotton

Guests can enjoy a stylish, sturdy, stone-grey floor made entirely from renewable and durable Moso bamboo. Additionally, the apartment features carpets made from eco-friendly cotton, perfect for sinking your feet into.

Seating options

The desk chair and ottomans featured in the apartment have also been stylishly crafted from Piñatex leather, with cushions made from the same material, adding an elegant touch to the interiors.

Vegan minibar

The minibar offers a wide selection of local vegan treats, such as Graze protein snacks, fruits, fruit snacks, and Deliciously Ella energy balls in various flavors.

In-room menu

The culinary team at Hilton London Bankside has redesigned the in-room menu, which now includes various vegan breakfast options, such as fruit juices, muesli, grilled Portobello mushroom, avocado, and Quinoa and quinoa scramble. Vegan lunches and dinners feature cucumber salad, cauliflower steak, and bean dhal.

Toiletries

In the apartment, guests will find a set of hotel toiletries, including shampoo and conditioner, as well as essential accessories such as shower cap, cotton buds, and a nail kit (made from recycled packaging).

Office supplies

The apartment desk is equipped with stationery including a notepad, pen, and pencil, all vegan-friendly with no animal traces in the paper or ink.

Cleaning supplies

Hotel cleaning carts have been refreshed with eco-friendly products, including those from the Method range inspired by nature, non-toxic and not tested on animals, and all linens are washed in eco-friendly detergent.
