Westin Hotels and goop Launch “Sleep Training for Grown-Ups” to help travelers sleep smarter
Westin Hotels & Resorts, a key brand within Marriott Bonvoy, has teamed up with Gwyneth Paltrow’s wellness company, goop, to launch a new initiative focused on elevating sleep wellness for travelers. Titled Sleep Training for Grown-Ups, the three-part video series features expert-backed insights to help viewers optimize their sleep routines both at home and while on the road.

Reinforcing its long-standing leadership in wellness-centered hospitality, Westin Hotels & Resorts has partnered with goop to debut Sleep Training for Grown-Ups—a wellness content series aimed at helping modern travelers achieve restorative, high-quality sleep. The collaboration is a natural extension of Westin’s ongoing focus on sleep innovation, following the 2023 global launch of its redesigned Heavenly® Bed.
The three-part series features goop founder and CEO Gwyneth Paltrow alongside renowned sleep scientist Dr. Cheri D. Mah, MD, MS. Known for her research in sleep optimization for athletes and performance-driven individuals, Dr. Mah provides practical and science-based tips to help viewers understand and improve their sleep hygiene. Topics covered include mitigating the effects of travel-related sleep disruption, ideal sleep environment conditions, and debunking common myths such as the concept of sleep debt.
Each video in the series highlights how daily routines—such as nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness practices—can have a significant impact on one’s sleep quality. Whether dealing with the “First Night Effect” common in hotel stays, managing jet lag, or establishing consistent bedtime rituals, the content equips travelers with tools for meaningful sleep improvements.
Coinciding with the video series launch, goop has introduced a dedicated Sleep Training Hub featuring curated editorial content and wellness resources focused on sleep. Consumers can also explore a new Sleep Shop, which showcases Westin’s next generation Heavenly Bed along with a carefully selected range of products in beauty, wellness, fashion, and home—all curated to support a restful night’s sleep.
This partnership is emblematic of Westin’s broader wellness philosophy, where quality sleep is considered a cornerstone of wellbeing alongside movement and nutrition. The initiative represents a strategic move to blend luxury hospitality with practical wellness education, appealing to today’s wellness-conscious travelers.
