According to the French newspaper Le Figaro, the AccorHotels corporation plans to introduce GREET to the market this summer - its 34th brand - offering independent hotels with 50 to 70 rooms under its umbrella. The brand is said to require minimal standardization but will include "vintage" accents.

The new AccorHotels brand - GREET, could become a new attraction for the hotel group, attracting more properties to its network. It particularly concerns independent properties, with 50 to 70 rooms, operating in the economy segment. Hotels would have some freedom in terms of interior layout to avoid standardization of the new brand's offering.

Greet will cater to guests looking for accommodation in good locations and offering more original products. However, to confirm the brand identity, Greet hotels will need to have a bar and colorful communal areas.

AccorHotels owns over 4600 hotels, resorts, and residences in 100 countries. Last year, it expanded its offering in the luxury lifestyle segment and its attractiveness in North American cities, acquiring a 50% stake in the SBE Entertainment Group. Sébastien Bazin, CEO of AccorHotels, said, "The partnership combines the best of both groups, offering all our guests new experiences and lifestyle concepts in the luxury segment. With the SBE brand portfolio, AccorHotels takes a significant step forward in expanding its group in the USA."
